Add-on Feature

Sovereign Execution is a paid add-on available for Business Hub Standard and Enterprise editions. It is automatically included on your quote or order form when selected. Contact your KNIME account manager if you have questions about licensing.

Sovereign Execution

Sovereign execution allows workflows managed in KNIME Hub to be executed outside the Hub’s own infrastructure, on compute resources that are operated and controlled separately. This enables running workflows closer to the data, within specific network boundaries, or on specialized hardware, while still using KNIME Hub as the central control plane.

Why use Sovereign Execution?

Sovereign execution solves the challenge of "Data Gravity." Instead of moving massive datasets to the KNIME Hub, you move the execution power to the data.

  • Hybrid Cloud Strategy: Keep your KNIME Hub in the cloud while running executors in your on-premise data center.
  • Specialized Hardware: Run computationally heavy workflows on dedicated GPU instances or high-memory machines that sit outside the standard Hub cluster.
