Account and admin
Knime hosts and operates your instance's underlying infrastructure, deployment, upgrades, and monitoring on your behalf. This part of the documentation covers the tasks admins need to manage a Knime instance.
What's in scope
Knime manages or makes available to you:
- Your Knime instance
- Trusted Extensions
- Support and maintenance, per your SLA
- Professional services, if ordered
- Add-ons, if ordered and available
What's out of scope
Knime doesn't provide or support:
- Standalone open-source components
- Third-party software
- Customer-developed extensions
- Non-trusted extensions
What you can't access
Because Knime manages the underlying infrastructure, you don't have access to:
- The Kubernetes cluster running your instance
- Keycloak administration directly
Manage users instead through Keycloak self-service credentials or SSO. See Keycloak.
For infrastructure-level tasks, contact Knime support.
