Audit trails
Knime continuously monitors your instance so you don't need to operate your own observability stack. Its CloudOps team collects metrics from Kubernetes, the underlying cloud services, and the application itself, covering:
- Cluster health
- Ingress traffic
- Request rates and latencies
- Resource utilization
- Platform-specific signals, such as account activity, active jobs, and workflow editing sessions
Logs from platform services, executors, and the supporting infrastructure are aggregated centrally. Alerts on infrastructure health, error rates, and resource saturation route to the on-call CloudOps team around the clock. This lets Knime investigate and resolve issues before they affect you.
All administrative access by Knime personnel to the underlying cloud infrastructure and your data is logged and auditable. Detailed audit trails are captured and retained for 30 days on Business, and 90 days on Enterprise.
What you can monitor yourself
Within Knime, you retain visibility into your own usage through the standard UI and APIs, including:
- Run history
- Job status
- Deployment activity
- User actions
Application-level monitoring of your workflows and deployments stays under your control.
