How to use K-AI

You can use K-AI in the workflow editor. The conversation is available in the K-AI panel on the left.

Ask for node suggestions

Open the K-AI panel and describe what you want to do in the chat. K-AI replies with one or more node suggestions.

What node can I use to remove columns from my table?

Build a workflow with K-AI

Describe what you want to build and ask K-AI to do it for you. The nodes will be added to the canvas already configured, and you can review the workflow built by K-AI.

Read the CSV file, filter out rows where Revenue is missing, and group by Region to compute the average Revenue.

Refactor a workflow with K-AI

K-AI can also change an existing workflow, instead of building a new one. Select one or more nodes, or leave nothing selected to let K-AI consider the whole workflow, and describe the changes you want.

Replace the Row Filter nodes with rule-based filters. Make sure to remove any missing values before the model training.

K-AI adds, removes, or reconfigures nodes to match your request.

Explain a node error

When a node fails execution, a red indicator appears on the node. Select the node and ask K-AI to explain the error.

Explain the error message in the Excel Reader node which is failing.

K-AI reads the error details and responds with a plain-language explanation, likely causes, and suggested fixes.

  2. Run the node to verify the output.

Edit the generated code as needed before executing. Click Ask K-AI again to let K-AI refine the code in the editor.

Generate an annotation

  1. Select one or more nodes on the canvas.
  2. Right-click and choose Explain with K-AI.
  3. K-AI adds an annotation to the canvas describing what the selected nodes do together.
  4. Double-click the annotation to edit it manually.
